Physical Library Closure

Information for GUST Community during the closure period ************

Dear GUST Community,

In accordance with the decision made by the Kuwait Government, the physical library is closed until further notice. 

Please monitor official government communication channels as well as GUST Instagram account @gust_official for updates.

While you will not be able to visit the library in person, we are commited to providing the best possible service during this period of time.

We have a wide range of online resources and you will still be able to contact the library staff.

I still have library books checked out. How do I return them?

Login to My Account on the Online Catalog and renew your books. When the library re-opens, you can return them physically. No fines will be charged during this period of closure.

I'm having trouble accessing e-resources from home.

Use our online trouble shooting guide. If you are still facing difficulty, drop us an email.

How can I get help searching for information?

You are still able to schedule an online session with a librarian to understand how to use a specific database or start your search.
