The A. M. Al-Refai Library is pleased to announce its most recent subscription to Journal Citation Reports (JCR) and EndNote through Thomson Reuters Web of Knowledge. Users can access JCR directly from the homepage: http://amrlibrary.gust.edu.kw/ or through the alphabetical listing in the Databases section.

What is Journal Citation Report (JCR)?

JCR is a unique Web-based research tool that allows users to evaluate and compare journals using citation data drawn from approximately 12,000 scholarly and technical journals and conference proceedings from more than 3,300 publishers in over 60 countries. Journal Citation Reports is the only source of citation data on journals, and includes virtually all specialties in the areas of science, technology, and social sciences.

Our JCR subscription includes: Science Edition 2012 and Social Sciences Edition 2012. The subscription comes with online access to EndNote® which the users can access through Web of Knowledge or directly at http://my.endnote.com.

Web of Knowledge and EndNote are fully integrated. This allows users to seamlessly build, organize and manage reference collections. Easily create bibliographies and share research with colleagues. And, fully integrated means Web of Science references will automatically display their Times Cited Count and links to Related Records. In addition users can also:
