American Corner
The American Corner is a special library collection set up in partnership between the Public Affairs Section of the United States Embassy, Kuwait and GUST.
The donation provides for Kindle Readers, laptops, and a core collection of over 570 books, periodicals, CD-ROMs and DVDs, videos and electronic resources about the United States. The collection consists of books on history, economics, American studies, English teaching, politics, law, democratic societies and Islam in America. The collection is dedicated to providing books, magazines and reference materials for GUST students, faculty and patrons. The bibliographic information for this collection can be accessed from the A. M. Al-Refai Library catalog.
The American Corner serves as a platform for presentations by visiting American Information specialists.
